Allegro is a subcontractor to a large prime responsible for all workshops trainings, study tours, conferences, and other events supporting USAID’s Asia Bureau and Missions. Under this five year, $500k CPFF award, Allegro managed all facets of the 2019 10-day Study Tour to Kenya for Nepalese Ministry of Education staff. This award followed Allegro’s $1.3M Data for Education Research Programming in Africa (AFR/DERP) under which Allegro managed the Africa Regional Education Workshop (AREW) 2014 in Accra, Ghana, and AREW 2016 in Addis Ababa, Africa, and sub-regional training workshops in 2015 in Senegal, South Africa, and Ethiopia. Allegro’s comprehensive management included site choice, securing venue, speaker identification and engagement, agenda setting, participant management, including collection of Participant Training forms from host country government officials, material production, speaker payment, honoraria, conference approvals and proper funds usage, financial management, evaluation, logistics, country clearances, needed HTSOS training, etc. Allegro supplies SME expertise in sessions on agency strategy, project design, financial management, budgeting (including earmarks), and A&A. Allegro supplied the same services under Data for Education Programming in Asia (DEP/AME) for five years and $910k worth of Task Orders.
